Accounts Assistant
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • You will perform inter-company transactions/billings and bank reconciliations
  • Updating of sales invoice index
  • Processing of revenue receipt and updating of customers’ accounts
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements to accounts payable ledger on a regular basis to ensure information is accurately recorded in the system and database
  • Process cheque/TTs for making payments to vendors/for inter-company payments and perform banking transactions
  • Ensure completeness of supporting documents submitted for payments
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Perform and check inter-company reconciliation
  • Handle general ledger and other accounting-related services
  • Assist in SAP implementation and migration
  • Checking of invoices, petty cash disbursement and processing of payments
  • Prepare audit schedules
  • Provide support to the team in any other Accounting & Finance duties as required

Requirements:

  • LCCI/ CAT certifications/ Diploma in Accountancy
  • Those pursuing ACCA or Fresh graduates in Accountancy, will also be considered
  • Min 1-2 years of experience in accounting
  • Eager to learn in a dynamic environment and fast paced working environment
  • Good accounting and Finance knowledge and conversant in MS Office applications particularly in Excel.
  • Experienced in SAP would be an added advantage
  • Working location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
