We have an immediate opening for the position of PAYROLL OFFICER to be based at our Corporate Headquarter in Kuala Lumpur. Payroll Officer (Kuala Lumpur) Responsibilities: • To be responsible for updating and maintaining records of employees in order to ensure employee records are accurate and up to date. • To be responsible for processing the monthly payrolls and pre-processing reports in order to ensure employees receive accurate payments within the specified timeframe. • To be responsible for payment and reporting in order to ensure in compliance with statutory requirements. • To liaise with banks, statutory bodies and auditors in regard to payroll matters. • To assist employees with common pay related enquiries. • To ensure all payrolls related transactions are properly charged to the correct GL accounts. • To perform month end and payroll reconciliation for accounts closing activities. • To set up and perform monthly Pension Fund deduction and reporting in order to adhere to the LIL Pension Fund policy. Requirements: • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or equivalent. • At least three years of experience in the related field. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Good analytical skill and an aptitude to numbers. • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written in English) • Good team player and able to meet deadlines.
